As I am an impulsive person, and against my better halves better judgement. I quickly gathered together what money I could not afford and began the hunt for my fist pit bike. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the person who offered to let me come down and try his bike was starting up a new business importing MosterPRO Pit bikes:

A cunning marketing ploy I must say, but, it worked. I bought one of the first 4 MonsterPRO pit bikes into the UK. I don't think that the brand imports into the UK any more, but shortly after i purchased the bike, the brand became the most sought after brand of supermoto pit bikes in the UK market. My little bike could possibly be seen as a collectors item.... i doubt it.

Every spare penny I had in the coming months, which unfortunately were leading into winter, were spent on getting out the bike. I fell off countless times, but slowly I gained confidence and became smoother, quicker and more familiarized with the bike.

The temptation to start racing was overwhelming, but despite my impulsive nature, and to some extent due to my empty wallet, I didn't. Winter was settling in, and I had next season to look forward to.

I have ridden road bikes for a few years, but through work and everything I had to take a break.

2015 is my first full season in mini bike racing, i came into it as it is racing on a shoe string budget. I have no previous experience in racing, and so i'm learning from the ground up.
