I had a Triumph day ! Info

Had an amazing day today.
I actually got my bike to take a 100 mile round trip to see my mum in Worthing.
However it all went a bit tits up when I went passed the Triumph garage in Bramley, just South of Guildford.

I had a quick browse and then a dealer got hold of me and the next thing I know I was agreeing to take a 1050cc Explorer XC and a Speed Triple out for a demo.

I am looking at getting a tourer and a super naked, probably in that order.
I did like the Explorer but my missus didn't like it on the back. The dealer then put me on the Tiger 800 XC and that was a lot better but I didnt get the time to take it home and let the missus try it.

The Speed triple was awesome. What a bike! Almost flawless especally with the Arrow zorsts!!

I will be uploading ALL 3 videos at some point over the next two weeks. Keep an eye out for them. Great bikes, gotta support the ol' Triumphs!
;)

Can't wait for the vids Ade. Did you get to see Mum? I'm going to test the street and speed this summer. My only issue is the fuel range. I have 120 mile return commute which will be done with bike once or twice a week but if I have to fill up each time that's going to knock the edge off gotta like the Arrow pipes being thrown in for free.
I think we should start a list of bikes we want Ade to test for us

By the way Ade I had a trip to the Tour De Yorkshire yesterday. It came within 3 miles of where I live. The bike was perfect to avoid the queues. I've never seen so many BMW motorbikes. Mustve been the entire North of England police bikes. They were having fun accelerating away. Wiggins was bringing up the rear. I digress.

I have heard that. I will take a street triple R out next which is the daddy of the daddies.
I cant help feeling that I would miss the power of the speed triple.
Then again, if one bought the street triple as a second bike and you already had a powerful bike then the street makes more sense i guess.

at the end of the day i dont think yo can really go wrong with either of those bikes.
depends if you really think you will use the power. sometimes the lighter lower bike is just more fun.
people say the 899 is better than 1199 for the road.
