Hello to Everyone

Just a wee post saying "Hello" and abit about me.
I'm 43, Male and live in Coventry I ride a 06 Suzuki Gsxr750.
I've been interested (loved) and rode bikes since I was about 12 yrs old.
It all started in a field on a Honda C90 which was stripped of anything that wasn't required to make it go fast!! ha ha.
I've owned a few bikes over the yrs (Transalp, Zx10r, Blade, R6, Versys, etc) and currently ride my Gsxr 750.
I've been going to track days since 2012 and its been great and I've met some really nice folk. along the way :)
I came across this site whilst I was watching some reviews on You tube.
It will be really great if this site picks up and grabs alot of interest!

Take care!
and ride safe ...

    Excellent, welcome!
You sound like a proper biker ;)
I am a tad older but have only been riding for 6 months or so.

Its is remarkable how different people get into motorcycle and often at very different ages.

from my travels around and talking at Loomies, Rykas, etc, I would say that the average motorcyclist age is easily over 40.:)

Hi all and thank you for the warm welcome!
Ade. I think you are right regarding the Ave age of bikers, I have friends in their early, mid and late 60s too. I've met quite a few senior riders when visiting the classic bikers meet in Belgium at Spa race circuit.
Schnuffi. I hope this place does become a great site for people to visit and share experiences.
Tachydude. That's a very difficult question to answer (lol) they are all great bikes! I'd say my 954 blade was probably the best "all round" bike which I owned but my zx10r (c2h 05 plate ) was a complete animal. It was an ex race bike which I tried to tame on the track and failed lol..You knew you were alive when you held the throttle wide open...
I had suzuki sv1000 (K5) that was great also. Commuted, great on fuel, v twin torque and sound, loved that too..
ExodusG. speak for yourself!! I'm still 22 (I think) lmao!!
I watched his review on the gixer 1000 L2 (sure it was that one) great review and bloody funny at times!!
EDcase. If I can assist or help anyone out with anything then that's great by me! :-)
Hope I didn't miss anyone out, sorry to waffle on..
Take care and ride safe guys!!

Thats an impressive bike list at 22!
It does illustrate that one bike , no matter how good, is never enough.

I have already deduced in my short career that I need 3 bikes... a sports, a tourer and a hop on and go bike. :)
