Have you ever crashed? :( Question

I havn't had a low or high side but i did run wide once cming out of the drive and hit a car in the passenger door, panicked, hit the throttle and hit it again. Worse thing was that it was my dads car !!:D

You can imagine the Green Mile walk of doom back to the house to explaim what i have just done. :(

Gone a bit wide om the roads before, once badly into the other lane but was lucky. I mostly get a bit dodgy at speed around lefthanders. well, i did, these days i have no problrms.

    :D Nice.

I have slipped down on a loose surface bend - no major dramas though.

:( Went wide on a left hander today on a fast ride. I should have leaned over more, been slower, or started turning earlier.
There was no car there so I bailed out and went wide. THere was a car a few seconds uip the road so I assume if it was then self preservation would have taken over and I wouild have leaned over more or jammed on by brakes and fallen off.
It is a learninf curve, I have been really practicing my turns. I know i need to commit but sometimes it just doesnt pull off and what you would get away with on track day may fuck you up on the road. My own fauly and part of my development, no excuses.

Not dropped my bike down for ages now but occasionally it almost reaches that no return point and one does crap oneself at the time :)

I havent but my brother had a big off and broke a couple of bones and has some major scars. Still rides though.
Didnt put me off but am always aware of the dangers but I have never had sports bikes so I ride slower than most probably,

    Had a couple.

    1) Few months after passing test. On a B-road with a T-junction joining on left. Traffic queue going other way. Car at T-junction decides to pull out to try and push into traffic line. Stops in middle of my lane just as I come up to him. I tried going around the front of him thinking he would leave space for me to pass... he didn't. I hit front wheel area and went over the bonnet. Of course now I would have stopped and then shout at him. Turned out to be Dutch embassy car...

    2) Travelling on B-road car reverses from driveway right in front of me. Must have done a quick look and then pulled straight out into the road.
I was doing 35-40 and had no chance. Ended up upside down with my ass through his windscreen. Turned out he was driving with a broken leg in a cast. :(

No broken bones for me in either incident so damn lucky but couldn't walk for about a week after first one.

I had a very near fatal incident that I escaped by inches. Don't want to go into details but it reflects one of my videos, 'The dangers of riding in a hurry or angry'

There is a message here...... dont go on B-Roads! :p

Sounds like you been jus plain unlucky, certainly with #2.
the first one.... I do exactly them same in traffic situations and in London have had more than a few near misses with cars trying to pull in or out or traffic holds. It is very dangerous and we probably shouldnt do it at all but its what we do! Sneaking into and out of gaps that cars cant make it part of our fun!:)

Jump4Joy: Yep, live and learn. Sometimes its better to let them go so they get out of the way.
I like going through traffic but its very tiring due to the concentration needed.

Had a woman comeout on me today , completely obliviious.
luckily i was moving slower than even normal but swerved in front.
i gesticulated back at her but i dont think she even noticed.

Women are supposed to be the safer drivers but i do seem to have more moments with them.
